# What payment systems can I use with Jammed?

Answer

Jammed supports both Square and Stripe payments

# Square payments

Jammed supports taking online payments and in-person card payments using Square (opens new window). Square is available in the USA, Canada, Japan, Australia, Ireland and the UK. Square payments is a good choice for European businesses as the card transaction fees are typically lower than Stripe.

When you create a Square account, you simply link to Jammed via the Jammed website settings page in the admin section.

Square supports Apple Pay and Google Pay wallets on iOS and Andriod devices. When you link your Square account it sets up all these options for you.

# Stripe payments

Jammed supports taking online payments using Stripe (opens new window). Stripe is available in most worldwide territories. Stripe payments is a good choice for North American businesses as the card transaction fees are typically lower than Square.

When you create a Stripe account, you simply link to Jammed via the Jammed website settings page in the admin section.

Stripe supports Apple Pay and Google Pay wallets on iOS and Andriod devices. When you link your Stripe account it sets up all these options for you.

# Charges and fees

Stripe and Square charge fees to handle card payments. The amount will depend on:

  • Your business location;
  • The types of cards being used;
  • The manner in which the details are taken (contactless, chin+pin, or online booking form)

The booking amount that Jammed charges the customers will be the full amount you set, and you won’t see any of the fees that were charged our side. The customer just sees the price, and you will see that same price in Jammed. You can see the fees charged via the Stripe or Square dashboards.

# Payout schedules

Both Square and Stripe have different payout schedules, so you’ll receive the money into your account every 3-7 business days.

There’s a lot more detail about this on the Stripe and Sqare websites. For Jammed's subscription invoices, we receive the money via Stripe after 3 working days.
